# Why did my transaction fail?

> There are many reasons why your transaction could have failed.

The most common reason is due to NSF; other possibilities include the lack of email addresses, phone numbers, security questions, etc.

Most transactions will fail within 2-3 days of the transaction initiation, but banking regulations allow for failures to occur even beyond this point.
