# Definitions When Creating a Transaction

**From:** The starting place of the funds.

**To:** Destination to receive funds.

**Amount:** $ value in Canadian dollars (CAD).

**Memo:** Memo that appears on the bank statement. *(If Transaction Description is set as ""Per transaction"" in your settings. If the Transaction Description is ""Fixed"", this will not display on the bank statement.)*

**Comment:** An internal comment for EFT, Visa Direct, and Credit Cards. For Interac, whatever is entered as a comment will be displayed in the Interac email.
