Instant Transaction Status Updates For Interac Account Receivable Transactions

Depending on your Interac configuration, Interac accounts receivable transactions can have a delay in updating the transaction status to completed. 

    Customers can get instant transaction status updates for Interac account receivable transactions by enabling the email notifications feature.

    Enabling email notifications

    1. Log in to your Zūm Portal

    2. Click Settings > Payment Methods > Interac

    3. Check the box Receive confirmation email for Accounts Receivable transactions 

     

    4. Click Save to confirm changes

     

    Once these steps have been completed, you will start receiving confirmation emails every time a user completes an Interac request. The confirmation email will be sent to the one listed in “Email to be displayed on the Interac request” in the portal.

     

    If you use an email address from your organization to be displayed, you will need to enable email forwarding to: interac-confirmations@zumrails.com

     

    If email forwarding is not set up properly, the transaction will not update automatically and it will be subject to regular delay. 

    If you would prefer to avoid email forwarding, you can utilize this feature by specifying: noreply@zumrails.com in the field “Email to be displayed on the Interac request”.
