What has changed?
Based on your feedback, we have made some exciting new improvements to Connect UI. Our goal was to simplify the experience without compromising security. Here's a summary of the changes we have made:
- Focused data collection: We have carefully selected the essential information needed to create a payment profile, eliminating unnecessary fields that could slow an end-user down. This means less time spent typing and fewer opportunities for errors.
- Intuitive design: The Connect UI form now has a cleaner and more intuitive layout, guiding an end-user through the process effortlessly. We've removed distractions and streamlined the flow to ensure a smooth experience.
- Faster checkout: With a reduced number of fields and a more efficient design, customers can expect to complete the payment profile creation process significantly faster than before.
How do I migrate to Version 2.0?
For Customers Using URL Connection:
Update your pre-existing payment profile link to include “/v2” at the end
Example: https://connect.zumrails.com/connect-adduser/{customer_Id}/v2
For Customers Connecting through SDK:
Add a new parameter (forceConnectV2) on the token generation for the payment profile link, which will initiate the implementation of V2

Note: Version 1.0 of Connect UI will be sundowning on Friday, November 1st 2024, so please ensure to complete the migration steps prior to that date
